Sons of Satin’s Rad Summer debut Fresh Booty Drops features a pair of indie dance tracks that are heavily influenced by the jackin’ sounds of tech house.
Sons of Satin started out as a side project by Rusty B (All Good Funk Alliance) to work on some “future” music with some local producer friends while his partner was away at Burning Man, the resulting songs came out better than expected so he decided to release them to world.
Alan Cormode, better known as Kinrade, hails from the UK’s musical hotspot of Manchester. With a strong focus on music with heart & soul, his humble productions show depth and thought. After starting out, playing records in the early 90ís, it wasn’t until 2009 when Kinrade won DJ Magazines double whammy. Winning the publications Raw Talent for both DJ mix & production in consecutive months, the only artist to ever do this. For many artists these days, production is used as a tool to spread their name and bag themselves DJ gigs. For Kinrade, production is the heart of his musical output and by making a conscious decision to follow the studio path, it really does show. After gaining the DJ accolades, this opened doors for the up & coming producer. Whether it be down tempo or not, the vibe throbs from the beating heart.
