Indianapolis’ Oreo Jones dropped his best work to date earlier this year with the sonically expansive and genre bending Cash for Gold LP through Rad Summer. The album plays with elements spanning everything from chillwave to pyschedelia to electronic music creating a collection that is very much contemporary where we are exposed to a variety of sounds at the click of a mouse. “Goldust” is the woozy opening track of the release and really sets the tone for the unexpected twists and turns experienced throughout. It also happens to be the soundtrack to the first chapter and video in a mini-series directed by Sam Miro and Joe Sailer introducing you into the world of Oreo Jones, while illustrating the context behind the album. Cash for Gold is available for purchase now digitally and on vinyl.
